A Journey Thru Education is a nonprofit organization that specializes in cultural exchange programs for high school students from Europe and a growing list of other countries. They have staff that have been in the industry for over 25 years and have a team of highly trained staff who are passionate about providing the best possible service to both the students and the host families.
By applying to A Journey Thru Education, you will have the opportunity to:
- Experience a wide variety of areas and schools in America, from coast to coast.
- You start by submitting an extensive application and participate in an interview process that will help us find you the best match with a host family and school. And that will suit your preferences and needs, and those of the host family.
- Receive ongoing support and guidance from a local representative of A Journey Thru Education who will greet you, meet with you every month, and assist you with any issues or concerns.
- Participate in events and group activities that will help you bond with your host family, your classmates, and other exchange students, as well as learn about the American culture and values.
- Engage in community service projects that will extend your awareness and empathy to the lives of others and make a positive difference in the world.

Highly Trained Staff
We know that living in a new environment is easier when you have an excellent support team. That's why our company is made up of individuals that deeply care about the J-1 and F-1 Cultural Exchange Programs and are committed to have you achieve the best experience possible. They have been trained and are continually updated on the ever changing rules and procedures in this program.
Our Host families will show you the everyday life in America that you don't find when on a vacation. You will make lifelong friends in sports and school and other High School Exchange Students that will be with you for the rest of your lives

Events and Group Activities
A Journey Thru Education serves not only the Students and their host families with a variety of activities that willl help with bonding and explore the culture of America, but we also have them do community service projects to extend awareness into lives of others, and to learn empathy and compassion.
